17” wide x 42” high x 2” deep

This piece is carved from wood and painted to look so much like slate that no one can tell that it isn’t stone. It is museum mounted under glass. There is a small winged cherub at the top and a quote from the gospels that reads: “What doth it profit a man to gain a fortune and lose his soul?”
