STEAM FIRE ENGINE
36" long x 29" high x 19" deep

This whimsical piece is built around a set of antique wheels and an old brass bell. The artist asked tinsmith David Claggett to make the top and bottom cans of the boiler and then employed a local blacksmith to forge the ironwork.A lathe was used to turn various pieces on the engine frame. Two earnest firemen and a loyal Dalmatian complete the work.
