7' 8" high including the pedestal

This sculpture was inspired by an early ship's figurehead at the Mystic Seaport Museum. It is sculpted from cedar, pine and maple and uses elements of 24 carat gold leaf. A hand carved gilded dove tops the flag pole and a long nautical swallowtail flag frames the woman’s head.
